Not satisfied

I bought glow plugs for my tractor. Before installing them I tested them (2 different test). None of them were working. I wrote to them cause I wanted to sent them back. This is what they : The product should be in unused condition retaining original packaging. My worries are how can you test something without opening the package. I was careful when I opened the package. I did sent them back . Since then nothing.

Question: glow plug CASE IH 710348R2.. What is the length of the metal barrel the electrode passes through. I am looking fot something like 12mm as I have a plug that is longer and is grounding out. Score mark on end of barrel. I measured old plugs and they measure 12mm. George 0
