After sharpening with the TurfPride compound, a sharper, cleaner cut of the clippings will provide a much smoother surface with less bruising to the grass, leaving a high-quality, and healthier, playing surface. Reel Diamond backlap compound is ideal to backlap your reels faster and sharper than ever before. Reel Diamond is a patented product that is an environmentally abrasive compound. The backlap compound uses a special formula to suspend the abrasiveness with special tackiness additives to keep the product on the blades as well as a lubricant to dissipate heat on the blades minimizing warping. The compound easily washes off with a garden hose. Rust inhibitors are also added to minimize corrosion. Industrial diamonds are using to provide faster cutting action creating a sharper edge. Reel Diamond backlap is ideal for golf clubs, municipal departments, schools and sporting venues. Used in commercial and residential applications.
