Direct replacement seat

The replacement seat for a Mahindra 6000 was a direct remove and replace, but it is considerably smaller and will require some modifications to work. The seat tilts forward and doesn't slide as far back as the original. It'll work, but not optimal.

Question: Will fit mahindra 6500. Says it will . But I have flat plate with 11 1/2 “ across and 11 3/8 front to back. But have a bracket bolted to casting in front is 8” across outside to outside casting and 6” from inside casting and back is 6 inch hole to hole . I look at Bolt hole diagram above and that mounting plate looks to be different than the picture of the seat the picture of the seat shows where possible two bolts go diagram shows a plate were several bolts go 0

Answer: This seat fits 6500 model and will match original bolt pattern. If you have custom mount plate on your tractor most likely you will have to remove it or drill new holes. The bolt pattern on the picture on the product page is correct.
