I'm very pleased with this seat. I put it on my 1999 MTD 19hp lawn tractor. I've owned it from new and the original seat was shot. I ordered it on a Monday and recieved it on a Tuesday. Fits

The seat matches what came on this Craftsman model 91727352 21hp Lt1000 made in 2004. I do wish the original setup had allowed more adjustment to get the seat closer to the clutch or brake for short people. I took the original slide adjustment bolts out and put them in the new seat but had to leave the bolts at the bottom openings instead of sliding them up into the rails to get as close to the clutch or brake pedal. Hoping the center bolt for locking the seat in place will hold it there.

Purchased this seat to replace the worn out seat on my Craftsman DLT3000. The seat was not exactly compatible with the original seat so I had to add two 1/4 bolts at the bottom to keep the seat in place. Also had to disconnect the kill switch on my old seat after going online and finding a video that showed how to remove two plastic inserts from the connector. The seat is comfortable and has a metal back that my original seat did not have. It is made in India so I hope it holds up for as long as I have my mower since original seats are no longer available for my mower.

Universal...but could've been better designed

The seat did fit my Sears Craftsman tractor but I had to use two static holes that forced me to mount the seat all the way to the rear. My OEM seat comes with two Center mounted holes that allow the seat to be slide-adjusted front to back by loosening the two center mounted bolts. This universal seat did not come with two Center mounted holes (one larger, one smaller). So,the seat doesn't adjust. I also had to buy another bolt since i had to use 3 screws total (1 large center mounted screws, 2 others for the rear hole mounts). It works but having the additional smaller Center mounted hole next to the larger hole would have been the most versatile configuration.
