Never Assume

The engine description given states the PTO shaft runs counter clockwise. I wanted to replace the old engine on my Troybilt tiller. when I opened the box, I found no PTO shaft. I will try to resell the engine that was shipped to me. I assumed and when I find the right engine, I will call and talk to a person. Thanks for reaching out to me.

I purchased a Briggs and Stratton 208cc small Engine. I thought the price was amazing and the delivery was within 3 days of ordering the product. I was very pleased to this point. After unboxing my engine I decovered that the muffler assembly was placed on the engine where I could not use the engine for my application. (Fan assemble for a leaf rake) I called the number for returning this engine and was told because of policy i could not return it. Here is of an email I received from Farm Parts Store.


If you are not satisfied and would like to return your order please contact us to obtain the RMA # and return instructions. Please click here to contact us or call us at 855-814-1515 and we will do whatever it takes to make you happy.

As I stated above I was told because of your policy I could not return this purchase.
This is not what you email read. I'll not do business with Farm Parts Stroe again and will recommend to all my friends and people in my county department to avoid purchasing anything from Farm Parts Store.

DONT' BUY FROM FARM PARTS STORE

I ordered a 208cc Briggs engine from Farm Parts Store. I believe the engine is very good the issue I have is that the muffler assembly on this engine does not allow me to mount my fan assembly for my leave rake. I could not see this online. The price was good but the engine is useless to me. Calling Farm Parts store number for returns they informed me that my purchase was not returnable. So now I'm stuck with a new engine that I can't use. I will spread the word as much as I can to not trust buying from Farm Parts Store. They don't stand behind the products they sell. But from a reputable dealer.

I'll always compare pricing but Farm Parts Store carries the exact same products much less expensive with just as fast delivery as any other site. Don't always trust Amazon to give you the best deal.
