Flywheel puller

Part I purchased is a flywheel puller I need to replace a gasket partially under the flywheel. I will need to remove the flywheel prior to installing the new cylinder head. The new head was never shipped; it's on back order. Since I haven't repaired the engine yet; it's hard to know if the tool will work or not.
