Question: I have one of these on my Pro 2132 snow blower.. lately this seems to STOP working - sometimes intermittent - but almost certainly when subjected to cold. There are two wires. I assume energizing on moves the motor one way while energizing the other wire runs motor in reverse. Since this is powered off of blower engine running - can you tell me fir testing purposes: 1.) is my assumption right and 2.) what voltage is this designed to run ? 6, 12, 25 ?? I presume DC not AC. ?? I’m trying to isolate if the motor is shot or if the ticker switch is shot. Figured powering motor independently over and over forward and reverse might prove it’s the motor vs the switch. Thanks. 0

Answer: It could be the motor or it could be the switch the switch gets arcing marks on it and needs to be opened up and cleaned and the motor the seal starts to go in water gets into it and it freezes when it's cold
