BX tractor compatible

Good quality replacement seat for my 2001 Kubota BX1800, but not a direct replacement. The bottom of seat pan interfered with the mounting bracket/seat sliders, but adding 1" spacers resolved that issue. Other than that, this seat is appropriately sized for this application, with the correct bolt pattern.

Great replacement seat

I changed out the seat on my BX25 with this Kubota seat. None of the threaded insert holes or drilled holes lined up with the frame.
Easy fix, purchased 4 threaded inserts and bolts drilled new holes and used some JB Weld to lock it all in. The seat comes with several threaded inserts installed. It would be better if the inserts were included separately.
still an easy $7 fix.

The bolts on the old seat were metric. The bolts on the new seat are SAE. So I had to stop everything I was doing and go get 4 bolts. Cost less than 1 dollar. Seems like you could ship 4 bolts with the seatand save me from having to stop what I am doing, drive all the way to a bolt store and get bolts. Especially when it cost $1.00.

Nice seat at a great price. The bolt pattern fit my BX24 perfectly. I had to change to sae bolts which was no big deal. I also had to use a piece of 1x4 to shim the rear of the seat up to clear the seat frame. Comfortable seat but not as robust as the oem one. Difficult to predict how well the seat will wear but at this price you can afford to replace it every 5 or so years.

Bolt holes lined up perfectly. The seat was a little wide for the metal frame but not enough to matter for me. It sits well and works fine. If the clearance issue is a problem for you, just shim it up with washers and use a longer bolt. It’s still well worth the money and a lot nicer than the old one.
