Aftermarket for John Deere Riding Mower Seat Assembly AM136044, AUC13500, AUC11188

Found Farm Parts Store online and checked out their pricing for a JD seat. They had one in stock and pricing was considerably less than what my local dealer was offering. Showed up in a few days and fit perfectly. Looks great. I should have done this a couple years ago.

I was excited for this seat to arrive based on the reviews mostly stating "perfect match." Unfortunately, that was not the case for me. The seat itself fit with factor hardware. The switch is a different story. There bottom core of the seat does not come down low enough to make contact with the safety switch. In order to make it work, I had to stuff a sponge between the seat and switch. I have reached out to Farm parts store for resolution. Hoping I just received a fluke defect seat that can be replaced. It may be a lot less expensive than OEM, but I was not expecting to have to jerry rig it.

I have ordered tractor seats before, and they all had to be modified to fit. Not this one! Excellent quality, perfect fit, shipped in a short period of time and at reasonable price.

Amazingly it arrived a day after placing the order! Perfect fit, took less than a few minutes to swap it for the old one. I peeled the logo off the old seat and it stuck to the new one, no problems. Looks like stock.

I just saved $175.00 for the replica seat for my John Deere x360. Farpartsstore you knocked this out of the park. Hard to believe that a JD Logo on the back of the seat is worth $175.00. Great Job.

Really pleased with the second day delivery. The seat fit my Deere LX280 perfectly.
The plastics backing may not be quite as heavy as the original, buy the safety switch mounted easily. Just needed pliers to bull the keys off the pivot rod.

Within an hour of its arrival, it was installed on my X500.Using existing hardware on the tractor, the new seat went into place quickly. As others have said, the only thing that would make this better is to have the John Deere decal for the back of the seat.
