The underside of the seat did not "trigger" the push button that allows the tractor to go into gear. I had to duct tape a 1/4" pad to the underside of the seat in order to trigger the push button. There are no drain holes in the bottom of the seat as well. Both of these issues probably would not be a problem with a J.D. factory seat.
